Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Management: Oversee the accurate preparation and issuance of invoices for goods or services rendered.
- Collections: Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from clients, working to reduce the number of overdue accounts.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable to ensure that the records match with what customers have paid.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports and cash flow forecasts.
- Dispute Resolution: Work with clients to resolve billing discrepancies or issues, ensuring satisfaction while maintaining company policies.
- Team Supervision: Often manage a team of billing or accounts receivable clerks to ensure efficient operations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve billing processes, streamline collections, and reduce outstanding balances.
