About this Opportunity

We are looking to add a talented, bilingual competitive account manager to our team in northwest Arkansas.

We are looking for a driven and hard-working leader who has exceptional ability to multitask, collaborate across departments, and communicate with customers.

The general purpose is to drive our business by booking quality freight and maintaining a high level of service with our customers. Develop and foster relationships to introduce multiple service levels of PAM to promote strategic, premium account growth throughout all of our business units. Always think outside the box to create great jobs for our driving associates.

Pay and Schedule

This position is Full-Time / On-Site / Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The pay range is $50,000 - $60,000 dependent on experience

How will you contribute to the success of the team?

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing logistic solutions to customers while building long-lasting relationships, maintain data integrity, strategize with Market Managers to stay in-tune with network balance, and revenue management per account. This role develops valuable skills for a career path to Sr. Account Manager, Compliance Manager, Operations Manager, Sales, and/or Pricing.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a requirement for this position
  • Interacts with customers to evaluate and assess steps to exceed expectations
  • Communication, communication, communication
  • Data entry from load building to appointment setting
  • Maximize operational potential for revenue and utilization growth
  • Identify and bid on additional freight through operating different customer systems
  • Lead in depth compliance calls with customer leadership
  • Track and trace booked loads
  • Ability to be nimble with daily network shifts to support all operational division
MAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establish, gain trust, communicate and grow with customers.
  • Maintain daily contact with our customers, shippers and receivers so that PAM is the first carrier they call for new and growing opportunities.
  • Always be working load boards and bidding on customer freight so they know our interest level to grow with those specific customers identified. Create a win-win.
  • Effectively engage with customer to understand and proactively address any carrier related areas of concern.
  • Build and maintain a healthy open line of communication to promote trust during critical situations for our customers. Relationship is key to our success.
  • Always offer the best solution possible to our customers before turning down new business opportunities.
  • Thoroughly understand the customer's operational requirements in order to provide a high-end service product.
  • Actively monitor and protect our customers freight with efficiency and heightened sense of urgency.
  • Communicate and work with planning, dispatch and management to derive solutions to prevent potential service disruptions.
  • Manage our internal numbers per account to meet and exceed customer scorecard metric expectations.
  • Maintain a high level of data integrity both internally and externally to ensure proper execution.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Great time management and multi-tasking skills in order to effectively oversee accounts while keeping a positive disposition.
  • Quality and effective communication with our customers, sales, pricing and operations/planning. Internal communication is equally as important so that we are always on the same page.
  • Strategic and aggressive freight booking by each account manager.
  • Managing your commitments and truly owning your book of business.
