Description:
Job Summary and Responsibilities:
Hands on keyboard engineer with experience in the DevOps space and, preferably, experience in the big data space.
Thought leader in the team in the DevOps and CI/CD space
Develop templatized, configuration driven applications that are easy to maintain
Develop and maintain performance efficient applications that extract, load, and transform data in our data lake
Maintain and secure sensitive data and information
Develop applications with Test Driven or Behavioral Driven Development approach
Architect and improve current solutions to use best of the industry patterns in the DevOps space
Work in a high-performance agile team to deliver on the committed work
Adapt to and learn about state-of-the-art technologies that can improve our current solution

Qualifications and Technical Skills (any version of the following):
Primary: DevOps tools (ADO preferred), Java, Python, Helm Charts, Maven (or similar POM based tools), Spark, Spring Boot
Secondary: Scala, Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, HBase, etc.), Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Orchestration tools (like Airflow). Streaming tools (NiFi/Streamsets etc)
