BI Reporting Analyst III

Primary Skills: SQL (Expert), Tableau (Proficient), Data Mining (Advanced), Business Analysis (Expert), Adhoc Analysis (Intermediate), Contract Type: W2 Contract Duration: 5+ Months Location: Tucson AZ or Plano TX Preferred (Open for ) Pay Range: $50.00 - $60.00 Per hour Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Business Data Analyst to perform comprehensive business analysis using various techniques, including statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and data mining. The ideal candidate will develop best practices, deliver actionable insights, and make recommendations to enhance business operations efficiency. Acting as a liaison between the company and its clients, the role demands a deep understanding of analytical requirements, with responsibilities spanning from producing ad hoc reports to assisting in the development or refinement of systems capturing business operation information. Key Responsibilities: Map out business requirements and KPI definitions for advanced reporting. Write sophisticated SQL queries for data acquisition, segmentation, and aggregation from diverse sources. Create and maintain dashboards in BI tools (e.g., Tableau) for monitoring business performance. Facilitate collaboration across analytics teams for cross-functional projects or analytics capabilities development. Conduct ad-hoc analyses and root cause investigations to explain business performance nuances. Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in SQL and dashboard creation using BI tools like Tableau. Strong understanding of business analysis and data mining techniques. Effective collaboration with analysts and data engineers on cross-functional projects. Industry Experience Required: Prefer candidates with experience in analytics within any domain, open to individuals from Plano or Tucson, but considering remote candidates as well.
