WHAT YOU'LL DO: In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering best-in-class BI Dashboards to teams across Kaeya to provide actionable insights to accelerate decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business questions, understand areas of analysis, understand workflow styles, and turn this information into purpose built BI, helping the company to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and drive growth. Within the Data Team, you work alongside collaborative teammates and learn from broad Data experiences spanning multiple industries and technologies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Reporting & Visualization:Create best-in-class reports and dashboards using data visualization tools (Power BI, Excel) to communicate key findings to stakeholders. Ensure that the reports are clear, concise, and tailored to the needs of the audience following a Style Guide and Development Standards.
- BI Center of Excellence:
In partnership with Data Leadership and the Data Strategy Team, help establish a BI Center of Excellence to help elevate the BI capabilities across the organization towards adoption of standard features, capabilities, and look & feel.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis:Provide ad-hoc analytical support for different departments. Respond to requests for specific data analysis or insights that inform business decisions.
- Data Documentation & Standardization:Document data sources, processes, and methodologies to ensure transparency, repeatability, and consistency in reporting. Help define and maintain data standards across the organization.
- Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance) to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions to enhance performance and decision-making.
- Training:Provide regular training sessions and office hours to help everyone understand how to use the BI dashboards provides by the team.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING: - Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
- 3+ years' experience creating visually pleasing and functional BI dashboards for > 10 users.
- 2+ years' experience with PowerBI, including change management and multiple releases.
- Expert SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Experience with Data Warehouses and Star Schema preferred.
- Strong experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.) and statistical analysis.
- Basic statistical knowledge for performing analyses such as averages, trends, and correlations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
- Effective communication skills to present complex data findings in a clear, digestible format for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
