To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: Who We Are HII's System Integration group is seeking a BFTT Engineering Technician to join our Fleet Sustainment group. This is a full-time role located at our San Diego, CA office. As an Engineer Technician 2 you will play a critical role as part of the Integrated Training Systems Installation and Sustainment (ITSIS) support contract for the U.S. Navy. What You Will Do Demonstrated experience in the design, assembly, production, inspection, installation, calibration, test, trouble shoot, operation and/or maintenance of electronic, mechanical systems and components. Progressive experience in fabrication, assembly, electrical/mechanical stresses, material capabilities, and instrumentation. Possesses soldering skills for repair of equipment and hardware and ability to read mechanical drawings. Knowledge of diagnostic tools, comprehension of testing methodologies applied to engineering or technology tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). What You Must Have Must have an active Secret clearance.
Must have experience working on Battle Force Tactical Trainer (BFTT) systems.
Associate degree in electronic, electrical, or mechanical specialization (or equivalent), military technician school.
Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 1 year of related experience; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years related (DoD/USN) experience.
Bonus Points For Prefer Four years technical experience with Navy Combat Systems.
