Beverage

Greet and serve alcoholic and non-alcohol drinks to guest to enhance guest enjoyment of the Casino.

Essential Job Functions:

• Greet and serve guests in a friendly, courteous manner;
• Receive and understand beverage orders & relay drink orders to bartenders;
• Know what brands of liquor, beer and wine we offer as "comped" beverages;
• Carry and balance a full tray of beverages;
• Keep glasses picked up, area clear of paper, and other debris as time permits;
• Circulate throughout assigned workstation on a continuous basis;
• Never serve two drinks at the same time to one person - never a beer and a shot;
• Be aware of intoxicated guests; stay up-to-date on care training;
• Other reasonable duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High School/GED preferred
• 6 months related experience minimum.

Preferred:

Bilingual a plus

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Must be able to carry and balance trays and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Able to walk the duration of assigned shift and wear approved designated heal for shoes
• Ability to handle high volume and stressful situations
• Excellent guest service communication skills
• Exposure to smoke, bright lights, and noise at times - casino environment

Salary Range:

$9.50 -15.00 + Tips
