Factory Location: Dallas, TX
Compensation: $37.64/hour
Shift Differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate paid for applicable hours worked
Schedule: 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, 5:00pm - 5:00am; Night Shift
Ability to work holidays and weekends as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment to support operators.
  • Familiarize yourself with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for mechanic and operator positions.
  • Understand equipment operations including normal running parameters and set points.
  • Train at each machine center and assist team members as needed.
  • Execute work orders for special projects, rebuilds, and installations as required.
  • Work with urgency to repair and start up production lines efficiently.
  • Develop knowledge in basic maintenance principles and intermediate electrical troubleshooting.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance during planned stoppages, focusing on project work, procedure creation, and work order execution.
  • Collaborate with vendors for equipment startup, improvements, and modifications.
  • Train operators on equipment standards and technical training modules when necessary.
  • Identify equipment losses and create plans to minimize downtime, focusing on the highest loss machines.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Preferred: One year experience with maintenance systems and/or storeroom inventory systems.
  • Preferred: Minimum two years of experience in manufacturing preventive maintenance systems.
  • Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Strong skills in maintenance systems, including industrial electricity, mechanical power transmission, and fluid piping systems.
  • Plant support equipment experience (air compressors, pumps, chillers, boilers) is a plus.
  • Solid computer skills, including familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Highly motivated, demonstrating a sense of urgency in completing tasks and achieving goals.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with excellent follow-up capabilities.
