Prairie Meadows is looking for a Concessions/Beverage Manager to manage all aspects of our multimillion-dollar revenue generating quick service restaurants and bars. Here's what you'll be responsible for:
  • Oversees the staffing, training, guest service standards and ensures staff is equipped to exceed guests and company expectations.
  • Identify, develop, and evaluate strategies to increase revenue, cost control, waste, and maintain food quality and consistency.
  • Works with the Executive Chef to develop and improve concessions & beverage menus.
  • Provides data for reports to ensure prices and costs of goods remain in budget.
Requirements: High school diploma. Minimum of three years of previous food service management required, with a minimum of two years of beverage/bar management experience and overseeing more than one outlet preferred. Experience with leading a team of 20+ team members and generating sales over $2M preferred. Must be TIPS certified or able to pass the certification. Must have or be able to obtain Serve Safe certification or industry-related certification. Experience with collective bargaining environments preferred. Must have strong organizational and training skills, as well as excellent customer service and people skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with persons of diverse backgrounds. Ability to lead and motivate team to achieve goals. Must have knowledge of liquor handling laws pertaining to distribution, security, and management of minor employees. Must possess knowledge of Iowa Department of Health laws and regulations. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills. Must have experience with inventory practices, labor/cost of goods analysis and P&L statements. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and push carts up to 150 lbs. Must be able to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
