POSITION: Beverage and Food Manager

JOBSUMMARY

AC HotelColumbus is located in beautiful Uptown Columbus, GA. The Food and BeverageManager is a customer focused professional that oversees all aspects of foodand beverage operations. Your dailyfunctions will include leading the F&B team to success, delivery stellarservice to our guests, creating a unique experience and supporting the overall performanceof the hotel. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly, and attentive service to guests; anticipate guests needs and answer questions that the guests may have pertaining to their visit with us; respond promptly; be familiar with property location, property amenities, as well as local attractions and activities to answer guests' inquiries; resolve guests' complaints to ensure guests satisfaction
  • Complete all required brand specific training as directed by General Manager; complete all required health and safety training; adhere to all property specific brand standards; knowledge of fire alarm and evacuation procedures
  • Operate the point of sale system, prepare food and beverage while complying with brand standards, serve guests in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Always maintain a clean and well stocked workspace, maintain an accurate inventory of all supplies and equipment, train associates in all areas of the restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction, review guest satisfaction surveys and make improvements where needed. Ensure profitability by proper promotions and waste control.
  • Perform other tasks as necessary or required to meet or exceed guest satisfaction
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Preferably 1-year experience in Food andBeverage “front of the house†management experience with demonstrated leadership.

• Excellentcustomer service skills

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

• Previousexperience in the hospitality industry (preferred)

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Abilityto follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment

• Additionaltraining (as required)

• Mustbe flexible to work varied schedules

• Musthave the physical ability to walk, bend, and stand for long time periods

• Mustbe able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Mustadhere to grooming and appearance standards in alignment with uniform

• Mustbe dependable

• Effective decision making andproblem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills (verbal,listening, and written)

• Effective conflict management skills

• Good training/facilitator skills

• Abilityto work well in stressful and high-pressure situations
