Benign Hematologist with Expertise

Memorial Healthcare System, located in South Florida, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible hematologist with expertise in benign hematology, specifically sickle cell disease. This full-time, employed position is part of the Memorial Physician Group, a leading multispecialty provider.Position Highlights:? Primary focus on the clinical management of adults with sickle cell disease? Additional care for patients with other hemoglobinopathies (e.g., thalassemia) and benign hematologic conditions? Opportunity to join a comprehensive, multidisciplinary care team that includes a social worker, pharmacist, wellness coach, and dedicated nurses? Access to dedicated outpatient hematology clinics, infusion/day hospital services, and embedded primary care ? Access to apheresis and transfusion services? Work alongside a medical director and advanced practice providers who focus exclusively on adult sickle cell patients? Strong collaboration with Memorial?s pediatric hematology team ? Collaboration with Memorial Cancer Institute who partners with Moffitt Cancer Center?
