Benefits Representative

Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., a privately-held company based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is looking for a qualifiedindividual to fill a Benefits Representative position in our Corporate Benefits Department. The Benefits Representativeis an hourly, non-exempt position responsible for providing assistance and expertise in enrollment, communication, andadministration of employee benefits. Responsibilities include: Processing Health, Life, LTD, and Flexible Spending benefits elections and changes Processing Change in Status and Special Enrollment Events for benefits Assisting with Online Enrollment System design and audits Generating and processing weekly Flexible Spending Reports and Flexible Spending Audit Assisting and responding to Life Insurance and LTD claim inquiries Processing and responding to Qualified Medical Child Support Orders Conducting weekly, monthly and quarterly audits for the Health Plan Problem solving with employees and third-party administrators Understanding and interpreting plan documents Distributing new hire packets Performing other tasks as assigned Requirements include: 2-3 years of verifiable benefits experience preferred Knowledge of 401(k), ERISA, HIPAA, and Health Care Reform regulations Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience with HRIS benefits systems (SAP preferred) High level of attention to detail Ability to effectively communicate, verbal and written, with employees, vendors and co-workers Strong organizational skills Ability to work independently as well as within a team structure Saturday work may be required at times Benefits include: Competitive Wages Medical, Dental and Prescription Plan 401(k) Program with company match Paid Vacation Sick / Personal Pay (SPP) Employee Discount Life Insurance and Long Term Disability Insurance (LTD) Flexible Spending Plan Holiday Pay Integris Clinic and Pharmacy on Campus Chaplain Services on Campus Hobby Lobby Stores Inc., is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
