Job Title: Benefits Implementation & Configuration Coordinator

Position Summary: The Benefits Implementation & Configuration Coordinator is responsible for accurately setting up, configuring, and maintaining system implementations while aligning with new client builds, renewals, and compliance requirements. This role ensures that system parameters meet client-specific needs for claims processing, reporting, and compliance. Additionally, the coordinator collaborates with internal teams to implement new functionalities efficiently. Knowledge of EDI and the Javelina platform is required.
Key Responsibilities: Benefit Implementation & System Configuration o Manage new client onboarding within the system setup
o Configure plan benefits and claims rules within the claim system.
o Ensure alignment of system parameters with client-specific coverage, network rules, PBM setups, and regulatory requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Technical Support o Work closely with IT, business analysts, compliance, and claims teams to ensure proper system functionality.
o Support EDI (837) file processing for claims adjudication.
o Provide ongoing technical support to resolve configuration issues and optimize system workflows.
Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years in insurance TPA operations.
- Experience with the Javelina platform, Plan Builds, Adjudication Logics, Master file maintenance, claims processing, EDI, JQS, client maintenance and benefit accumulators.
- Strong understanding of insurance policy administration, claims processing, and eligibility management.
- Proficiency in system reporting tools.
- Knowledge of EDI transactions.
- Familiarity with self-funded and fully insured business models.
- Strong project coordination and implementation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process optimization.
- Proficiency in insurance management systems, software, and data analysis tools is a plus
Pay and Productivity: With administrative responsibilities, production goals with tasks per day is required. The coordinator will assist the manager of the Systems Configuration and Implementation team in working items in the escalation queue, building client documents, and executing associated duties.
