Our client is seeking a Temporary Benefits Coordinator to join their team in New York.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate new hire benefits orientations & create presentations.
- Support employees with eligibility inquiries for all benefit plans.
- Answer questions, explain options, and help employees choose the most suitable benefits.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to create and improve benefits programs.
- Organize activities and Benefit Fairs.
- Maintain accurate records in HRIS and adhere to compliance laws.
- Project manage benefits communications including global engagement activities and required employee benefits-related notices.
- Act as liaison for all Worker's Compensation claims & connect with vendors.
- Handle all accommodation requests in partnership with upper management.
- Use past records to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and recommend changes.
- Assist with leave program coordination including FMLA, Disability, parental, etc.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, primarily in Benefits-related roles.
- Knowledge of common employee benefits offerings and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of Workers Compensation rules and processes.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Workday HRIS.
