Benefits Account Manager Direct Hire position FT $70-90k DOE On-Site for training then hybrid and client site visits Moorestown, NJ

A day in the life of an Benefits Account Manager
  • Responsible for Client Lifecycle Management to strengthen and maintain client relationships and ensure client retention
  • Set up and coordinate all group benefit administration services (FSA, COBRA, HRA, HAS)
  • Oversee and verify that all client company information is correctly entered into the company database
  • Engage in regular client communications to build strong relationships and address potential questions, deliverables, projects and act as the main point of contact for clients' needs
  • Oversee and/or prepare "new Hire and Open Enrollment Guides" and Client communication technology platforms

Requirements for the Benefits Account Manager position
  • 3-5 years of experience in the Insurance field
  • Ability to travel within Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York as needed
  • Current Life & Health License
  • 1-3 years of experience as an Account Manager preferred
  • Critical thinking/decision making abilities to identify problems or opportunities and develop solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - must be a good listener
  • Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of employee benefit programs, employee benefit consulting, and the legal tax and administrative issues pertaining to the as measured by licensing, accreditation, certification, testing and training in each field
  • Proficient knowledge in group benefit programs such as Medical, Dental, Life and Disability insurance
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and particularly Excel
  • Must be organized, flexible, resourceful and polished
