Join the Adult Behavioral Health Program as a Crisis Therapist, providing critical screening, assessment, and intervention services to adults in crisis-via telehealth and in-person-in collaboration with local police departments.
This is a Permanent-Direct hire role.
Schedule Monday-Thursday 8:30am-7pm, Friday 8:30am-5pm, Saturday 9am-1pm (flexible; includes on-call coverage)
Compensation
- Fully Licensed: $28.90 - $38.89/hour
- Limited License: $26.68 - $35.91/hour
Position is currently offering a $3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS and an incentive opportunity each pay period.
Travel: Mileage Reimbursement when personal vehicle used - IRS standard. .64 per mile

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide telehealth-based crisis screenings and interventions for adults referred by law enforcement.
- Assess needs and determine the least restrictive level of care.
- Offer transitional support, advocacy, and care coordination until individuals engage in ongoing treatment.
- Respond immediately to crisis calls during scheduled hours via pre-programmed tablets.
- Deliver ongoing therapy for adults in intensive case management, including AOT and NGRI cases.
- Flexible hours; some evening and weekend shifts required based on program needs.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling (Required)
- State of Michigan license (LLMSW, LLPC, TLLP, LMSW, LPC, or LLP) required within 60 days of hire if not currently licensed
- Experience working with adults diagnosed with serious mental illness or substance use disorders (Required)
- Must obtain QMHP and SATS credentials within 120 days of hire
- Must hold a CAADC credential or enroll in a MCBAP Development Plan within 6 weeks of hire
- Strong engagement, assessment, and crisis management skills
