Behavioral Technician (BT)
About the Company
Brightview Care is looking for passionate and patient Behavioral Technicians (BTs) to join our team of professionals delivering high-quality, in-home ABA therapy services. We help children thrive by providing individualized, compassionate care in collaboration with families and clinical leaders.
About the Role
As a BT, you will work directly with children, using evidence-based strategies to support communication, social skills, independence, and emotional regulation. Under the guidance of a BCBA, you'll play a critical role in implementing treatment plans and tracking each child's growth and success
Responsibilities:
- Work one-on-one with children in home settings
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by a BCBA
- Teach and reinforce communication, social, and life skills
- Collect accurate, Real Time data on child behavior and progress
- Follow safety guidelines and behavior protocols consistently
- Collaborate with caregivers and clinical supervisors to support goals
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field (preferred)
Required Skills:
- Passion for working with children and families
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Ability to follow treatment protocols and data collection procedures
- Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in ABA or behavioral health
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- $18.00 - $24.00 per hour (depending on experience and credentials)
