Required Education and Experience
  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Experience working with DD/ID individuals
  • Must possess a current driver's license

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8-5. Occasional flex hours, evening and/or weekend work may be required.

Essential Functions
  • Train staff on Behavior plans and data collection.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite and computer software.
  • Assist with new employee orientation as requested.
  • Monitor data collection and plan implementation including the completion of fidelity checks and plan competency checks.
  • Assist department clinicians with behavior assessments, treatment effectiveness evaluation, and probing different treatment interventions through any of the following methods: observation, interviewing, chart review, use of other information gathering methods, modeling positive interaction/interventions with residents, and teaching and training directly with individuals (this may include assisting with group therapy /behavioral classes).
  • Provide behavioral emergency response as needed.
  • Provide clerical assistance as needed such as assisting with paperwork, and chart and Lifebook organization.
  • Assist with data entry, behavioral graphing, and database management as requested.
  • Assist department clinicians with preparation for treatment team meetings or special reviews.
  • Attend Meetings and individual reviews as indicated by assigned clinician or department director/designee.
  • Assist with direct care and support of individuals in the home, in the Enrichment Center, and in the community as requested by department director/designee.
  • Assist with outpatient specialty clinic assignments as requested.
  • Assist with rapid improvement teams, staff incentive initiatives, or other special projects as assigned.
  • Learn and follow all policies and procedures.

Travel

This position may require travel. Amount and frequency of travel varies per agency needs.
