We are searching for passionate and enthusiastic individuals to become part-time Site Supervisors for our Before School Program at Vail Farm Elementary in Lagrangeville, NY.

PAY: $16.00 per hour
HOURS: 6:30 am - 8:45 am, Monday - Friday
JOB STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Engage in hands-on activities based on our Healthy Kids Curriculum, covering everything from fitness to STEAM, academic challenges, artistic projects, and more. Plus, lend a hand with homework.

Foster a safe, healthy, and super fun environment where kids can flourish. Be the role model they look up to each day.

Support the Site Director with various management tasks like maintaining attendance, registration, staffing, and acting as the designated leader in the absence of the Site Director.

Keep parents and family members informed via the Playground App, sharing those precious updates and moments.

Ensure compliance with OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and the host school's rules.

Meet regularly with the Director to discuss decisions, resolve issues, and plan for the immediate needs.

REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent, and two years of direct experience with children under 13 years old.
OR

A School-age Child Care Credential or other Office-recognized credential specific to school-age development, and one year of experience working with children under 13 years old;
OR

An Associates degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Be prepared to undergo a background check, including fingerprinting, references, SEL & SCR through NYS Office of Children and Family Services.
Medical clearance from your doctor to perform all job duties and be free of communicable diseases, including TB.
Youre approachable, friendly, and full of energy. Whether working with children, parents, or coworkers, your people skills are exceptional. Youre professional, reliable, and always on time.
Ability to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and keep pace with kids.
