Were seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team as part-time Childcare Substitutes for the Before and After School Programs during the academic year in the Peekskill City School District.

PAY: $15.50 per hour
STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt

WHAT YOULL DO:

Support engaging, hands-on activities using the Healthy Kids Curriculum everything from physical fitness and STEAM to academic projects, creative arts, and of course, helping with homework.
Foster a safe, healthy, and super-fun space where children can learn and grow. Be that awesome role model theyll remember.
Keep families in the loop by using the Playground App to share daily updates and sweet moments.
Always stay on top of things by following OCFS regulations, Healthy Kids policies, and the guidelines of our host schools like a champ.

REQUIREMENTS:

Youre 18+ and have a high school diploma or the equivalent.
Experience working with children under 13 is great, but not required we value energy and commitment just as much.
Youre medically cleared fit for duty and free of communicable illnesses, including TB.
Youve got a cheerful, approachable vibe. Your people skills shine with kids, families, and coworkers alike. Reliability, professionalism, and punctuality are part of who you are.
Youre physically up for the task: lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, moving, and staying active with energetic kids.
