We are currently hiring for several roles at our Genesee Valley School site in Belmont, NY for the school year.
JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt
POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, Directors
PAY: $15.00 $17.00/hour (dependent on role, experience, and qualifications)
Our Before and After-School Program team is responsible for:
Leading hands-on activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academics, art, group games, and homework time.
Creating a safe, engaging, and healthy environment while being a positive role model for kids.
Maintaining daily communication with parents and guardians using the Playground App.
Following state regulations, Healthy Kids Program policies, and school host guidelines.
(For some positions) Performing administrative tasks such as tracking attendance, managing registrations, and scheduling staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
You are 18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience working with children under 13 is great but not required we value potential and enthusiasm.
You're medically cleared by a doctor and free from communicable diseases, including TB.
You bring energy, kindness, and professionalism to the role. You communicate well with kids, families, and coworkers and show up on time, ready to lead.
Youre physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and engage actively with children throughout the day.
