Chemical Operator in
Jackson, MI. Responsibilities - Milling, mulling, spheroidizing, blending in various batch plants.
- Operate fork truck, hand truck and other common material moving equipment
- Loading of drums and sacks with finished solid chemical product
- Complete all required daily documentation as it relates to production
- Be responsible for identification of and reporting of safety violations or concerns and be generally responsible for the duties that will be assigned to them.
- This position will be hands on manufacturing, interfacing with product and equipment.
- Demonstrating good safety standards
- Troubleshooting equipment
- Operating a forklift
- Chemical processes
- Wearing all Proper Protective Equipment
Requirements - Require a minimum of 1 year experience working in a production manufacturing environment.
- Must be willing to work all shifts and overtime as required.
- Manufacturing assembly / production experience is a requirement.
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts as needed.
- SAP Knowledge
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs
- Must be able to wear a face mask/shield when needed the site has facial hair policy
Must have a valid driver's license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property. Education: High School Diploma or GED
Location: Jackson, MI 49201
Pay Rate: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - 19.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
Work Schedule: Rotating shifts days and nights
Length of Assignment: Contract - Hire
