SALARY RANGE: $17.00 per hour plus tips. As a Market Barista, you will be responsible for a wide range of different tasks in your day-to-day interactions with your customers. You'll be responsible for making various types of coffee drinks along with food items and not limited to retails options.

- Must actively participate in team member referral program and be a Talent Ambassador for Silverado Resort.
- Must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.
- Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards.
- Properly handle and maintain all equipment.
- Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and constructive feedback in a polite and efficient manner.
- Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures.
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to multitask.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings and must be able to make recommendations.
- Observe relevant health and safety standards.
- Ensure that the opening/closing duties are complete as per protocols of the Market.
- Have a thorough knowledge of all the retail items at the store.
- Complete any other relevant tasks as requested by the Management.
- Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications- Retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred.
- In compliance with California laws, Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handlers Certification are required.
- Must be 18 to operate a golf cart.
Working Conditions and Schedule- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Must be able to stand and work for extended periods of time during customary service hours.
- Must be able to bend, stoop or reach as needed.
- This role requires operating a golf cart.
