Barbacks are key to a successful bar, and they create a warm and welcoming environment for our guests to enjoy and relax. Barbacks support the bartenders and servers by maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area and keeping the bar stocked with supplies. Our philosophy is that our guests' experience will never exceed the experience of our employees, and therefore we are looking for barbacks who are excited to work in a team and who foster an energetic and fun working environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Greet guests as they arrive
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily
- Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area, to include ensuring clean glasses are stocked
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed
- Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assisting with maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
Qualifications - Some experience in a high-end restaurant or hotel preferred
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to respectfully engage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
-Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
-Multi-lingual a plus.
-Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
