Bar Supervisor
Contract Type: Full time Permanent (40 hours per week to include evenings and weekends - oart time available)
Salary: £29120 (plus overtime as required)
Location: Goring

Are you someone who has previous experience of working behind a bar in a supervisory capacity? Do you always strive to offer the highest levels of customer service?
Goring Social Club is looking for a Bar Supervisor who is able to manage a team of staff and confidently interact with customers.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:-
- General Bar duties to include serving drinks and food, handling payments, maintaining bar area etc.
- Management of bar staff.
- Operational duties including opening and closing the premises, line cleaning and restocking.
- Reviewing and ordering of stock.
- Ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Financial duties including cash handling, till operations and reconciliation of daily takings.
- Ensuring adherence to safety regulations, food hygiene, licensing laws and Club policies and procedure
Essential criteria
- Previous experience of working behind a bar.
- Interpersonal skills both for managing the team of staff and interacting with customers.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to problem solve dealing with customer complaints and addressing operational issues.
Desirable
- Knowledge of bar and cellar maintenance.
About us:
Goring Social Club is a member s only establishment situated in the middle of Goring on Thames. The club provides a subsidised bar for members. It holds regular events such as music nights, games nights, charity fund raising along with Bingo and a meat draw every Friday. We host league games for our darts, pool, snooker and cribbage teams. We also host local sports teams. You will report to the club steward and interact with the club s committee members who oversee the club s management.
