Bar Saw Operator

About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Bar Saw Operator
• Pay Rate Range: $18-22/Hour
• Location: Blaine, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift Mon-Fri 6AM-2:30PM with O/T required as necessary
• Position Type: Temp to Hire Bar Saw Operator Requirements and Qualifications:

1. Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Must have strong math skills and an ability to read tape measures and micrometers.
3. Must have a valid driver license.
4. Must be able to do moderate lifting, pushing, pulling (up to 50lbs).
5. Previous plant work experience is desirable.
6. Must be able to work overtime.

Bar Saw Operator Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Order Fulfillment
   1. Identifying the correct inventory to cut the jobs
   2. Calculating the correct quantity of plate needed to complete the job
   3. Running all facets of cutting the order on the saws
   4. Finalizing the ticket in the ERP system
   5. Restocking drops after each job.
   6. Securely packaging all saw jobs after cutting for safe shipment to customers
   7. Organizing saw jobs by driver route for efficient loading of trucks (by drivers)
2. Inventory Optimization
   1. Proactively working to optimize inventory locations to keep the efficient flow of material in our plant
3. Inventory Counts
   1. Participation in accurately measuring and counting aluminum plate inventory as determined by management to fulfill financial obligations
4. Occasionally load or unload incoming/outgoing materials
5. Maintain safety and cleanliness of the warehouse
6. Always keep floors trash/garbage free
7. Other duties as assigned by shift supervisor
