What You'll Do:
  • Event Setup & Breakdown: Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of banquet and event areas per BEO specifications.
  • Decor & Presentation: Set up decorations, signage, floral arrangements, lighting, and more.
  • Guest Service: Serve food and beverages, maintain cleanliness, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout events.
  • Support Roles: Perform duties such as bartending, bussing, barback, cashiering, and assisting AV and facilities technicians.
  • Cleanliness & Maintenance: Maintain banquet areas, restock buffet items, and assist with deep cleaning tasks.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Banquet Captain and Banquet Manager to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Offsite Events: Assist in transporting food, beverages, and equipment to off-premises locations.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality of all departmental information.
What We're Looking For:
  • Education & Experience:
    • G6/S1-3 DOE: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
    • G7-G8/S1-3 DOE: High School Diploma or GED required; one year or more experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
  • Skills: Exceptional customer service, multitasking, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of POS systems, AV services, and banquet equipment.
  • Certifications: Must obtain Food Handler and TIPS certification within 90 days of employment. Forklift, scissor lift, and Stageline 100 certifications preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 75 lbs., and work in various environments including outdoor settings.
  • Work Environment: Exposure to mechanical parts, tobacco smoke, and loud noise levels on the casino floor.

Enrollment Information:
