The Surfsand Resort is currently seeking a Banquet Manager to join our growing team. As Banquet Manager, you will be responsible for organizing, managing and directing the banquet department and staff to provide high-quality banquet catering functions held at the hotel.

Responsibilities - Coordinate the delivery of all food and beverages for functions held in the Hotel and all details about functions being held in all banquet and meeting rooms.
- Applies safety fundamentals in all areas of health inspection requirements and operation, including proper use of utensils and equipment.
- Achievement of budgeted food sales, beverage, and labor costs.
- Provide excellent guest service
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications - Minimum of high school diploma or GED
- Two years related banquet, catering, restaurant experience preferred
- Prior hospitality experience preferred
- Customer Service experience preferred
- Knowledge of health department standards of food sanitation and safety practices
