BANKRUPTCY PARALEGAL
Southfield, MI On-Site Full-Time
A fast-paced legal team is seeking a detail-oriented Bankruptcy Paralegal to assist attorneys throughout all stages of creditor-based bankruptcy cases. Ideal candidates are proactive, highly organized, and capable of handling high volumes of standard filings under strict deadlines.
BANKRUPTCY PARARLEGAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare bankruptcy filings, petitions, schedules, and financial disclosures
Maintain and organize electronic/physical case files
Track deadlines and coordinate calendars
Review financial records and contracts for analysis and reporting
Draft pleadings, correspondence, and court documents
Communicate with clients, creditors, and court personnel
Provide hearing/trial support as needed
BANKRUPTCY PARARLEGAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or equivalent experience (certification preferred)
5+ years of bankruptcy paralegal experience
Skilled in PACER, CLS, and Microsoft Office
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
