Bank Clinical Psychotherapist / Psychologist
We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate clinical psychotherapist / psychologist with experience working with families, carers, and children in a healthcare setting.
This role involves collaborating with our established parent support team to meet the psychological needs of our service users and neonatal team.

Main duties of the job
- Provide evidence-based interventions for families and carers of babies on the neonatal unit.
- Conduct debriefs for staff following challenging events.
- Collaborate with the parent support team to triage and manage service users' needs.
- Liaise with the Neonatal Operational Delivery Network.
- Promote and guide parent-led ward rounds.
- Work as part of the senior neonatal team to provide specialized psychological assessments, interventions, and evidence-based treatments for parents, carers, and neonatal staff experiencing trauma and anxiety related to their roles.

Person Specification Qualifications
- Registered Psychologist / Psychotherapist
- Professional Doctorate in Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy
- Registration with the Association of Child Psychotherapists (ACP)
- Mental Health First Aider
- Training in CBT

- Experience working in an acute hospital setting with neonates
- Autonomous practice experience utilizing clinical judgment in complex cases
- Experience delivering group work for training and support
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team
