- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 90 days of hire

Must-Have:
- 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume emergency department
- Teamwork mentality
- Ability to coach and give feedback in real-time
- Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department

Job Description:
- Work in a hospital emergency department recognized for its excellence and patient safety
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a busy and diverse environment
- Utilize equipment including Baxter pumps and GE monitors
- Document patient interactions using Cerner
- Schedule requires working every other weekend; block scheduling is not available
- No floating outside the emergency department, but flexibility within all sections of the ED is required
- Uphold patient experience standards, including respectful behavior and communication
- Participate in the care of patients in a unit with 101 beds and varying patient ratios, typically 4:1 for medical cases and up to 7:1 for behavioral holds
- Join a department known for teamwork and serving a multicultural community with over 120 languages spoken locally
- Engage in continuous learning and contribute to a compassionate care environment
