Back of the House Supervisor

The Torchy's legacy began in Austin, Texas in 2006 with an idea, a dedicated executive chef and a food trailer to now operating in dozens of locations across multiple states. We are looking for a passionate individual with management experience in restaurants to join our team as a Back of the House Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all Back of the House (BOH) operations, ensuring a safe and clean kitchen, and leading a team dedicated to delivering high-quality, scratch-made food. If you have a strong understanding of kitchen management, demonstrated leadership abilities, and a passion for developing team members, we want to hear from you.
  • Managing food costs, ordering, and inventory management
  • Interviewing, hiring, and scheduling BOH Team Members
  • Ensuring adherence to recipes, proper portioning, and food quality standards
  • Implementing action plans for operational excellence
  • Leading and motivating the BOH Team Members in alignment with Torchy's Values
  • Collaborating with the Learning & Development team to facilitate training and certification
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of kitchen management experience
  • State alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe Certifications
  • Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills
  • Bilingualism is a plus
