Join Barclays as an Azure Principal Engineer, playing a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and securing complex cloud-based solutions using Azure technologies. To succeed, you should have:
- Expert-level knowledge of Azure Platform and Services, including Compute, Networking (Firewalls, DNS), Data Integration, GenAl, and Containers.
- Proven experience in designing and engineering complex solutions on Azure, with a deep understanding of the cloud platform's capabilities.
- Ability to deliver secure and compliant solutions using Azure features in a highly regulated environment, particularly within banking.
Highly valued skills include:
- Scripting experience in Bash, PowerShell, and Python for automation and resource management.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines, with proficiency in BICEP and ARM Templates.
- Azure Certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-701, and SC-100 are highly desirable.
