Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer for a large financial client in Frisco, TX, or Berkeley Heights, NJ. This engineer will join a growing team working on a modernization and migration project for two fiscal services applications in support of the IRS and Federal Department of Revenue. As a DevOps Engineer, you will contribute to the design, innovation, troubleshooting, and delivery of state-of-the-art cloud-native capabilities within Microsoft Azure. Day-to-day activities include automating solutions, maintaining knowledge bases/run-books, troubleshooting, restoring service to applications, and providing general assistance with projects. Limited scheduled after-hours support may be necessary. This position is on-site five days per week and offers opportunities for upward mobility. The estimated pay range for this role is $70-$80/hr, depending on relevant years of experience.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of Azure-specific cloud experience

Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab

Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning

Hands-on experience with application support and monitoring within Azure operational dashboards

Expertise in Azure IaaS/PaaS, including Application Gateway, API Management, App Service, Azure Monitor, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure DevOps, Azure Storage, and Azure Front Door

Experience with containerization tools such as EKS or Kubernetes Experience with WebLogic and Apache

Strong understanding of Azure security practices

Competence in Linux OS

Ability to configure Microsoft Sentinel null
