Azure Communications Developer Job Responsibilities

Develop and Maintain Backend Systems:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Develop RESTful APIs to integrate with front-end systems, third-party services, and Azure Communication Services (ACS).
• Implement chat and voice features using ACS to support real-time communication functionality.

Optimize Application Performance:

• Ensure the best possible performance, scalability, and security for backend services.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to address these issues.

Collaborate Across Teams:

• Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to implement integrated communication solutions.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.

Database Management:

• Develop and optimize database structures to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Handle data migrations, backups, and recovery processes.

Stay Current with Technology Trends:

• Research and adopt new tools and practices related to Azure services and cloud-based communications.

Requirements

Education, Licensure & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field require.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred.

Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, specifically Azure Communication Services (ACS).
• Familiarity with real-time messaging protocols and services.
• Experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
