Job Description:

Wipro is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team onsite in Long Island, NY. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in product engineering, data science, and modern data architecture, particularly in the Azure cloud ecosystem. This is a critical role responsible for designing and maintaining scalable and efficient data solutions that support strategic decision-making and product innovation.

Mandatory Skills:

• Azure SQL
• Azure Databricks
• Azure Data Architecture
• Data Modelling

Nice to Have:

• Azure AI Search
• Azure OpenAI

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• Proven experience in product engineering and data science
• Strong understanding of architectural design patterns and best practices
• Solid experience in data modelling, data warehousing, and database design
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar programming languages
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (especially hyperscalers like Azure)
• Knowledge of predictive modeling and analytics frameworks
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
• Relevant certifications in data technologies or cloud architecture
