DESCRIPTION

Media Specialist TAMs work across all AWS Elemental media products and CloudFront to apply their product knowledge to key customer projects during the specification, development, deployment, and acceptance phases to deploy video workflows.

Media Specialist TAMs collaborate with Media Specialist Solutions Architecture (SA) teams in AWS Sales to understand customer needs and design relevant media solutions. They work closely with customers to transition solutions from conceptual design to long-term production operations. When customized solutions are required, they may also work with AWS Professional Services, representing customer operational needs and aligning with AWS Support capabilities. While software development is not expected from a Media Specialist TAM, a background in software development is valuable for understanding complex customer needs and driving software solutions.

Media Specialist TAMs take ownership of the long-term operational health of their deployed solutions, contributing to the overall success of their assigned customers. They also coordinate with AWS Support TAMs, who hold overall TAM responsibility for AWS Enterprise Support customers. A key aspect of their role is providing ongoing support and deep domain-focused guidance throughout the customer lifecycle.

As a Senior Media Specialist TAM, your responsibilities include:

  1. Completing onboarding and off-boarding requirements for assigned key customers
  2. Owning customer health dashboards for media workflows, working with AWS TAMs and Technical Project Managers
  3. Defining detailed customer project requirements and scoping feature tickets with AWS Solutions Architects
  4. Interfacing with customer project managers and technical owners to understand requirements and deliver product releases
  5. Collaborating with Product Managers to prioritize customer requirements
  6. Working with Engineering managers to ensure delivery of product features
  7. Advocating for, specifying, and owning the availability of customer test environments
  8. Verifying implemented product features and testing multi-product workflows
  9. Communicating effectively with customers and internal teams
  10. Mentoring junior TAMs and Engineers
  11. Defining and implementing team metrics and processes

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) focus on driving revenue and growth across various customer segments, including public sector. The AWS Support team emphasizes world-class support as critical to customer success and partners with customers building mission-critical applications on AWS.

Note: This role requires the ability to work from an AWS office in London.
