Responsibilities
We are Hiring. We are adding an
AWS DevOps Engineer to our FDA team. This position is fully remote. The qualified candidate will provide AWS DevOps Engineering and O&M support for an application/system modernization project.
What you will do: Design, Deploy and Maintain AWS infrastructure like Storage (RDS, Dynamo DB, S3 etc) and Compute - Designs, develops, and implements cloud-based solutions.
- Designs cloud architecture and completes plans and specifications to develop solutions.
- Collaborates with the team and engineers to develop specifications for new cloud-based products/services, applications, and solutions.
- Drives the roll-out of cloud management platforms, evaluates its performance and implements enhancements.
- Develops and enriches the product portfolio of cloud services and value-added services.
- Creates solution recommendations to include Basis of Estimate for cloud services.
- Performs operations and maintenance of secure managed cloud platform solutions.
- Implements and maintains automation to enhance operation, alerting, and auto remediation of events.
- Develops, maintains, and deploys infrastructure as code using CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot Deployment related issues and improve DevOps processes by optimizing workflows.
Qualifications
Required Qualifictaions: - 5 years of expereince and a Bachelors Degree. An additional 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree
- Experience in AWS infrastructure like Storage (RDS, Dynamo DB, S3 etc) and Compute
- Hands on experience on AWS ECS and EKS
- Experience at maintaining applications deployed on Linux OS like RHEL
- Experience in Linux administration and troubleshooting any issues with Linux systems
- Significant experience with Docker
- Build and Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and AWS Code Pipeline
- Automate infrastructure provisioning through Cloud Formation(primary) and Terraform
- Medium level hands on experience with Shell or Python Scripting
- Knowledge on Java and Java Script applications to deploy applications
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with Informatica tools like EDC, Axon and IDQ
- Monitoring and build Dashboards using Cloudwatch, Splunk (Optional)
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional; AWS solutions associate certification
- Experience working as part time DBA with maintaining Databases like Oracle, MySQL etc is plus

Target Salary Range
$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
