Responsibilities - Participate and contribute in Cloud Platform & Product Architecture for cloud based applications
- Demonstrate thought leadership in cloud computing across multiple streams (cloud native)
- Develops technical roadmaps for future cloud implementations
- Ensure security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions
- Define technology standards and future state for Cloud Services
- Creation and maintenance of guidelines, reference architectures, guiding principles, and solution building blocks as well as technology roadmaps for automation and programmable infrastructure in addition to confidential research, cost-justification, and drive technological improvements through position papers
- Cooperate with enterprise architecture to assure overall fit & integration and define target architectures
- Standardize automation capabilities and create automation best practices
- Communicating the decisions and their impact to stakeholders
- Create and supervise design within the DevOps teams and projects/programs
- Assist with application team intakes regarding improving their automation capabilities
- Create solution design together with the application team, which has the best fit for their application with the current provided services
Requirements - 7+ years of experience in cloud-native application, backend service, and API development
- 3+ years of experience as a solutions architect or consultant in mobile applications, cloud-native applications, and infrastructures
- AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy applications to cloud-based solutions
- Experience migrating large databases from legacy data models to new data models
- Working knowledge of DevOps tools and Software Development methodologies
- Professional experience architecting and operating cloud-based solutions
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies, learn quickly, and manage ambiguity
- Ability to articulate business requirements, lead in-depth technology discussions, and drive solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers
