Description & Requirements Maximus is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer who focuses on building and maintaining AWS infrastructure for DoD applications, emphasizing scalability, security, and performance. This engineer will collaborate with various teams to enhance cloud configurations and automate processes, playing a vital role in optimizing DoD's cloud-based operations. This position is contingent upon award. It is on-site, five days a week, and requires an active secret clearance. Maximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) Internal Job Profile Code: TCS021, T3, Band 6 Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructures for DoD applications.
Implement security measures, automate operations, and use CI/CD tools.
Collaborate with teams to optimize AWS network and storage configurations.
Develop scripts for automating network configurations and security compliance. Job-Specific Minimum Requirements: Active TS/SCI clearance required
5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Extensive experience with AWS services and infrastructure management.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools.
Strong knowledge of scripting languages, cloud security principles & practices and Kubernetes.
IAT Level II
Must have AWS certifications or trainings in at least one of the following certifications. 3 years of proven relevant experience may be substituted for each certification.
AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or training
AWS SysOps Administrator certification or training
AWS DevOps Engineer certification or training Preferred Skills and Qualifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect

Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances. Minimum Salary $ 82,000.00 Maximum Salary $ 162,000.00
