AWS Cloud Architect with Security Clearance

Position: AWS Cloud Architect
Location: Onsite - Fort Belvoir, VA Term: Long-term multi-year contract
Compensation: Highly competitive
Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret clearance required
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens only Key Requirements:

• Deep knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, Lambda, etc.)

• Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, routing, DNS, firewalls, load balancers)

• Experience with Linux (Amazon Linux, Red Hat) and Windows Server system administration

• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and infrastructure-as-code

• Strong grasp of cloud security, IAM roles/policies, encryption, and incident response

• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and translate requirements into secure, scalable solutions

• Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Passion for automation, continuous learning, and innovation in cloud environments Preferred Skills:

• AWS CloudTrail or Security Services experience

• DOE or other federal civilian experience

• Experience delivering software solutions and managing dev projects

• Strong written and oral communication across technical and non-technical teams
