Position Responsibilities Include:
• Support activities to plan, conduct and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies
• Design systems, materials, components, software and methodologies to meet customer requirements
• Participate in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems
• Support the coordination of test requirements and assists in reviewing test methods and capabilities
• Facilitate systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post-test tear-down
• Conduct routine tests, analyzes data and documents results
• Troubleshoot and recommend resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems.
• Work under general supervision Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
• Experience fabricating, installing, routing, terminating, soldering, and repairing electrical wiring harnesses; or any variety of electrical components, and associated equipment Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Experience installing aircraft modifications to include fabricating and installing aircraft electrical system wiring, connectors, electrical components or avionics boxes
• Experience with aerospace assembly and/or electrical fabrication
