This is a Newly Awarded Program, currently hiring 10+ Avionics and Structures Technicians to work on this 3 year long project.
Must Haves:
Interim or Active Secret Clearance
- 3+ years experience with avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering, and crimping
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Must provide own tools (tool list provided, need to be in a shadowed box)
- HS Diploma/GED
Plusses:
Previous military background or experience working for another defense contracting agency (Lockheed Martin, Boeing, L3 Harris etc.)
Previous experience working on C130 maintenance
Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking an Avionics Technician III to join a client in Colorado Springs, CO. This person will be responsible for performing avionics repair, test, install & maintenance in accordance with FAA, FCC and company policies. You will do this by ringing out harnesses prior to install, repair and troubleshoot electrical components on the aircraft in accordance with blueprints/schematics and assemble components, such as electrical controls and junction boxes, and install software.
Shift:
Monday - Friday 8am-4pm

US Cit/Ability to obtain secret clearance + Clean Driving Record
Ability to pass drug screen including marijuana
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to pass health screening (Non-DOT physical, Audiogram hearing test, OSHA respirator test, vision test)
