Synertex is seeking an Aviation Policy Analyst to work with our Government Customer supporting the US Air Force at the Pentagon. Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct analysis of unit manning levels, aircrew regulations, and training plans across the United States Air Force. Develop and communicate data-based recommendations for new and revised policies related to accessions, training, and rated retention strategies. Provide advisory and direct support based on domain, technical and specialized subject matter expertise, to include reviewing analytical findings and making policy recommendations on lines of effort. Work closely with senior leaders to ensure the policy and strategy function is aligned with organizational goals, priorities, and objectives. REQUIREMENTS: Experience developing strategic communications, such as executive reports, policy papers, and memoranda that contain cost-effective, risk acceptable initiatives. Experience writing and conducting climate surveys, focus groups, and comprehensive studies of organizational culture. Active secret security clearance. Proficient in MS Office applications. A bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or higher; 3+ years of experience or certifications can substitute for a degree. AN IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: Experience communicating with Department of Defense Senior Leaders and Congressional representatives. Experience with military aviation. (rated or non-rated USAF experience preferred). An understanding of the USAF policy hierarchy, rank structure, aircrew training methodology, and both the strategic and operational mission sets.
