Utilize Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards, which includes Advisory Circular 150 series to analyze existing airfield conditions and perform comprehensive studies to propose future airfield improvement plan. Collaborate with airport stakeholders, airline representatives and government agencies to develop Airport Master Plan, Airport Layout Plan (ALP) and yearly Airport Capital Improvement Plan (ACIP). Utilize AutoCAD and Aviplan software to analyze airspace surfaces (FAA part 77, and U.S. Terminal Instrument Procedures (TERPS , aircraft parking plan, airfield geometries, taxiway fillets, and other development plans within both airside and landside. Provide technical support for airport clients in airfield planning studies in both short and long-term plan. Collect airfield information (such as aircraft parking positions, aircraft lead-in lines, and passenger boarding bridges specifications) in support of airfield planning studies. Provide technical assistance to assist in the preparation of construction phasing plans for future airfield and/or landside projects with the goal of being able to assess and minimize impacts to airport operations.
The experience and education requirements are:
24 months of experience as an Aviation Consultant
A Bachelors degree in Aviation Administration or a related field
