Delta Solutions and Strategies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated candidate to support US Space Command (USSPACECOM) J6 as an AV/VTC Support Engineer. This position provides advanced support for classified video teleconferencing and AV systems, requiring independent troubleshooting, secure system configuration, and technical coordination across DoD networks. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining continuity of operations for secure conferencing systems while exercising independent judgment in performing complex technical tasks. An active TS/SCI is required for this position. Anticipated award mid-June and start July/August What you will be doing: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot AV/VTC systems across NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS networks in accordance with mission needs Implement system software updates and perform firmware configuration on Crestron, AMX, and Extron platforms Provide Tier II/III technical support for system outages, performance degradation, and integration issues Execute root cause analysis and develop corrective actions for recurring AV/VTC issues Coordinate with government stakeholders, end users, and vendors to ensure uninterrupted classified communications Monitor system health, manage usage logs, and recommend performance enhancements based on system analytics Support implementation of system upgrades, new site stand-ups, and hardware refresh efforts and document all technical activities including change requests, system configurations, and diagnostic findings Apply independent judgment and technical expertise to prioritize tasks, resolve issues, and recommend improvements to AV/VTC systems What you will need: A BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
Minimum of 6 years advanced experience in engineering and installing VTC/AV systems and installing VTC/AV systems, knowledge of how to upload Crestron and AMX control programing and knowledge, and DSP audio installation for VTC/AV system. Excellent customer service skills including customer relationships, responsiveness, and timely resolution of customer issues, and the ability to problem-solve creatively in time-sensitive situations. Core and Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Tasks (KSATs) defined in the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework for Work Role 411. Experience supporting and maintaining VTC/AV equipment and scheduling on the NIPRNET, SIPRNET, COE JWICS, GWAN, and GOLD networks.
Experience engineering and installing VTC/AV systems.
