Automotive Worker

Job Description Must have an active (or ability to obtain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Clearance This position is contingent upon contract award The Automotive Worker performs maintenance and repair on a variety of gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles and equipment in support of facility operations. This includes troubleshooting malfunctions, inspecting and servicing mechanical systems, and ensuring all work is performed in accordance with applicable safety, environmental, and manufacturer guidelines. This position supports mission-critical operations in a secure government facility and may require working in all weather conditions and irregular hours.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on cars, light trucks, vans, and equipment

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, etc.)

• Maintain service records and ensure proper documentation in accordance with maintenance control procedures

• Use a variety of hand and power tools, diagnostic test equipment, and electronic systems

• Adhere to facility, federal, and local safety and environmental guidelines

• Perform road tests and quality assurance checks on completed work

• May assist with snow removal equipment maintenance and emergency vehicle support

• Report issues to supervisor and provide input on parts and materials procurement

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an automotive technician or equivalent military/MRO background

• Valid driver's license (CDL preferred or may be required depending on site needs)

• Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and software
