Position: Automotive Title Clerk Location: Lexus of Orlando and Lexus of Winter Park Responsibilities:
- Process and manage automotive title work across various categories:
- Retail new/used cars
- Out-of-state titles
- Dealer trades
- Grounded loaners/new loaner units
- Wholesales
- Pull available ELT for trade packs and enter title numbers into the system.
- Work on missing title reports and prep deals for title work processing.
- Prepare trade packages when necessary.
- Accurately process title work for vehicles, including processing tag & title invoices and ACH payments.
- Manage title work schedules and cut refund checks for tags.
- Apply for duplicate titles as needed and handle metal and temporary tag inventories.
- Update system notes and track completed title work.
- Print customer registrations and handle title & trade pack inventories.
- Maintain title filing systems and ensure the integrity of title inventory.
- Provide support for tag & title work to guests, management, and team members.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive title work.
- Experience with dealership accounting,
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required.
- Must be a Notary Public.
- Ability to work under deadlines and maintain a sense of urgency.
- Professional appearance and work ethic.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
