Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive diagnostics, servicing, and repair. This position requires proficiency in using power tools and the ability to work on various vehicle types, including diesel engines. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers vehicles.

Duties

Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately.
Utilize power tools and equipment to conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles.
Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used.
Transmit diagnostic findings and repair recommendations to service advisors or customers.
Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Repair or replace defective parts using welding techniques when necessary.
Collaborate with other service technicians to enhance workflow efficiency.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Qualifications

Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role, preferably in a dealership setting.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and the use of diagnostic tools.
Familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Bilingual a plus.
