Responsibilities:

As a Midas Automotive Technician, you will perform a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services, including: Diagnosing issues using state-of-the-art computer systems Tire services - mounting, balancing, and repairs Heating & Air Conditioning diagnostics and repairs Steering & Suspension repairs Belts, hoses, and engine cooling system services Battery testing, starting, and charging system repairs Brake inspections and repairs Oil changes & routine maintenance Check engine light diagnostics & repairs Muffler & exhaust system services Visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications:

Ability to repair vehicles independently while thriving in a team environment Strong knowledge of brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics Proven track record of high personal productivity Adherence to safety and environmental standards in an automotive repair setting Experience using shop equipment, including lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, and scan tools High school diploma or equivalent (Technical degree is a plus.) State-specific auto repair certifications Valid driver's license Own tools and equipment (Diagnostic scanner/tools preferred) Ability to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
